As I sit here and listen to my husband do dishes and yell at the dog, that is chasing my 2yr old, and Cade screaming because he is fighting sleep, I can't help but laugh. I wonder what some people would think if they could be a fly on our wall for just a minute...that would probably be enough for one person. The things that the girls do and say on a daily basis is something only a mother would know of.
This morning we were getting Macy ready for school and Brandon, me and rylee were all on the bed watching Macy get herself dressed (very interesting at times) she did a great job putting all of her clothing on the right way and right side out!! When it came time for her to put her boots on she was putting them on the wrong feet, Brandon reached down to help her and tell her that "this boot goes on the other foot", Macy quickly turned and informed her father that " I am 4yr old, I know how to put on shoes, thank you" I tried not to laugh because she was being sassy and we are trying not to encourage it, but I could hardly hold it in....my cheeks were hurting from holding my breath and squeezing them so that I didn't burst into it.
Everyday is a new day and a new conversation with Macy, we never know what she will say or when she will decide to say it!!! We ahve become very careful in our choice of words and phrases in the last few months, only because she is like a sponge and soaks up everything she hears or sees, rathre it be on television or wherever.
